Griffiths Evans are appointed to the Football Association’s framework for building services consultants.

Our role is to provide ongoing building services engineering support for capital development projects at Wembley National Stadium and the St. George’s Park training facility.

At Wembley, we have delivered the complete replacement of all traditional lighting within the stadium with high efficiency LED lighting. We developed the Employer’s Requirements for the project and acted in a client monitoring role throughout the phased implementation.

We have also provided design and consultancy services for the new bowl and feature lighting system, which includes integrated controls to synchronise the field of play floodlighting, arch lighting, and stadium audio for major events.

In addition, we designed new power and data infrastructure to serve the stadium from the remote broadcast compound in the Pink Car Park. This system was delivered in line with UEFA standards and supports broadcast and media requirements for international fixtures and major events.

At St. George’s Park, we are currently designing a new pavilion building to support the FA’s ongoing investment in elite training and development facilities.
